I just really wanted to be able to make my art useful. I feel like my passion for design will get me far.

My name is Angela Faulkner and I’m a graphic designer at DCWV. I was led to a design career by my love of the arts from a young age, and graphic design seemed to be the most practical. I just really wanted to be able to make my art useful. I feel like my passion for design will get me far. I like scrapbook design because it gives me a chance to use my illustration skills. I get my best inspiration when I’m not looking for it, sometimes it’ll just pop into my head or I’ll see something unexpected. Besides being creative I also enjoy spending time with my husband Jason, whether in the outdoors or at home with our two cats. I’m kind of a hopeless romantic so when I get alone time I usually spend it reading Jane Austen type books or watching sappy romance movies. Pride and Prejudice is the movie I could watch over and over again. It’s a great story because it teaches that if you are true to yourself then you will have everything: the guy, the money, and a really big estate in England!
